Exhaust Manifold Heat Stove Spring Needed?
Took my intake and exhaust manifold off my 230 straight six and noticed my heat riser was stuck shut. I got it moving smoothly again but the springs are now missing. Is this something that is vital? It's not a daily driver. Sort of just a weekend project truck. Thanx for any info.

The spring is avaiable at any specialty parts store. If you are in a warm climate you can tie it open but its better to have it operating.
