Hoodlatch Relocation or something custom.
I am in need of a different hood latch.
On my 68 when it comes off of the core support to the grill it dips down too low, it runs into my intercooler... No hood pins! |

I have a the same problem but for a different reason.
Can You post a picture? It would be easier to tell what you are up against. I know you are having problems with clearance for the air to air cooler. My problem is I am going to use the dodge radiator and modify the chevy core support. |

Here's a quick picture I took, bit of a challenge standin on one foot, holdin the upside down, rightside out intercooler up with the other!
Notice the two core support nuts just above it though. In the pic it has about a 5/16" piece of poly between the frame and intercooler.
