Hydroboost Brake Lines
Im going to switch to Hydroboost over winter to hopefully fix my terrible breaking problems. My question is should I change to a larger diameter brake line, avoid compression fittings, or anything else like that?
What do I do about the actual brake rod for this conversion? Posted via Mobile Device

You don't need larger diameter lines unless you are changing the diameter of the hydraulic components. There is no increase in brake fluid flow, only in pressure.
You want to absolutely minimize the number of fittings and maximize their quality. Hydraulic brake boosters will usually double (or more?) line pressure. If a connection is marginal with vacuum boost, hydraulic may blow it out. Compression fittings are considered by the ASE to be sub standard and to be avoided in *any* brake system. Use double-flared brake fittings. You may find somebody on the internet or local to you who disagrees with me, and that's fine, but I'd go with the ASE on this one.
