To drill or not to drill thats the question
Ok guys i need a little input . ive read differnt post saying to drill out the rivit
on the rad suport for the sway bar mounts .and i saw the one alan did and said his didnt need to be drilled i don't remember . the mounts are from an 70 model truck along with the lower aframe with the holes all ready there / this is going on my 65 short step . sorry for being long winded. but just wanted to double check brfore grinding and drilling . Thanks for your time Bill |

I would mock up the sway bar and see where it fits..then drill

I used the lowered mounts sold by ECE, but the location should be the same. If you look at post #49 of my build thread, it has the pics of the mounting.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=486894&page=2 My brackets straddled that rivet and I had to drill holes in the frame and leave the rivet intact.

I've had two that lined up with the rivet, and one that didn't.
