Steering Damper/Stabilizer

Anyone use these? My 66 has one on it and I need to replace the actual damper shock. Do any of the LAPS have them? Mine has the rod ends.

I would think somone added it to your truck at some point. Its not gonna hurt anything to keep using it.. You may find some numbers on it and figure out what it is.

I only ever saw or used these on 4x4's or on my RV.
