Is there a sub floor on Blazers ?
I,m trying to figure out where I need to cut for clearence for my driveshaft and I see underneath it looks like another floor.Anyone know what kinda structure this has before I start wacken away.I can,t see very good right now,I have to go buy more floor jacks,stoopid lowered trucks.Thought someone might shed some light on this while I,m gone

What year and where at in the blazer?
Other than a few heat shields My 87 k5 is single floored anywhere i have messed with it. Take a small drill bit and drill though where you are wanting to cut. if you hit two layers you'll know. |

Mostly a single layer.
There is some additional structure in the form of steel cross members that might make it look like a double layer in some areas. K

why? get longer sazall blades.
if you cut from underneath you chance metal in your eyes, cut from the top down be comfrtable, see good, cut straight, curious why are you clearnacing for your driveshaft? bridged and its coming through the floor? |

Is a 78.It does look like a molded crossmember just in fr. of the rearend.

I,m just hoping I can cut that structure and get lucky and not have to cut up the floor.The driveshaft won,t go on,it hits.

this really wont help, but im posting it anyways. floor is single, and braces yes are "double" walled for strenght. |
