Need a Shop Manual
I've purchased two new '58 Shop Manuals. Both of them were crap. The type was fuzzy and many of the diagrams were too dark to see any details.
Anybody know where I can get a good copy? thanks |

Re: Need a Shop Manual
I was lucky enough to find an original on ebay. Here is a link to one on ebay that might work out for you.

Re: Need a Shop Manual
I bought an online factory service/repair manual for my daughter's PT Cruiser.
The seller was in Seattle (as if that matters) and for $8 he sent me the password to download it from his site. I only printed off the 6-7 pages I needed for the job at hand, but I have the rest on my hard drive anytime I need it. Easy! |

Not a bad idea, but want the actual book.

Re: Need a Shop Manual
I'd be jumping on the one that Divine 59 gave the link to. The add says that it is an original out of a shop.
I've got a used original manual for my 71 GMC and the factory original ones are what a guy wants. I did get a copy of the 48 Chev manual off Ebay and it is pretty decent.

Re: Need a Shop Manual
arturo get the factory assembly manual from lmc truck for $30, it's a reprint but a good reprint
it says it's for 55-59 but it's really the 55 version that works for all task force trucks the 58 and 59 shop manual supplemental to the 55, but only show the additions to the 55 such as power steering and air conditioning in 59 ( i have an original 59 shop manual supplement) the factory assembly manual shows all the parts that go in to the trucks and panels
