I'd probably stick with the Chevy, but if you are looking for something different, the mopar would be the way to go. (I'm in the process of putting a 350 Olds in a 49 Ford 1ton). I don't know what all would be involved with the swap since I don't have alot of experience with mopars, I assume motor mount towers, tranny x-member, maybe some clearance issues with the master cylinder and heater box, driveshaft of course, I can't recall where the radiator necks are on a dodge, you may have to have a radiator made for it.
