These trucks had an optional 4 core radiator so you could go with that. Was used on AC trucks or the optional heavy duty radiator.

The real crummy part of this job is getting your old mounts off the bottom of the core support. They are riveted on. Once they are out of the way the rest is easy. When I got done with mine I ended up with the whole assembly too tall for my fan shroud. I made a simple little "shroud extender" for lack of a better term. I paid on the order of $200 for a new 4 core radiator shipped to my door. I used "Radiator Doctor" or "Mister Radiator" or some other fly-by-night ebay store. Since then I believe over the counter stores like O'Reilys and NAPA offer the same price. About $200.

Re: Wanting to put a bigger radiator with more cores will this cause fitment issues
On the lower mounts, all you need is a drill to drill out the rivets or a grinder to grind them off.The 4 core is wider.I used a stove bolt on each new bottom bracket. On top the bolt holes are already there. If you look, you can move the top bracket over the 2 inches or so.It took me longer to gather parts than to do the swap. The lowers will require you to relieve the lip on the core support where the new mount goes.
You will probably have to have a new fan spacer to clear the radiator,I spent $8 or so at Advance.Get everything mounted before you buy so you can measure what length you need.

mine originally came with a 4 core, but when I needed to replace it I purchased my 4-core radiator from Advance Auto Online. Free Shipping to my house, plus there was a discount for some promotion they were doing.

Re: Wanting to put a bigger radiator with more cores will this cause fitment issues
Just looked. $219.99 for part number 433366, 3-core radiator, and with 15% off, looks like $186.99 plus free shipping to your house.
The 4-core is $264.99 for part number 433369, with 15% off is $225.25.

I think I would just spend the cash on a radiator that actually fits.
