Removing 62-66 GMC Marker Lights
Anyone know what holds these in?
Is it just the four small rivets? |

The rivits hold the lense to housing and the housing has tabs from the backside that have to be depressed to release the light.

go to http://www.6066gmcguy.org/ he has a good tech on how to pull them.. it is very difficult to do, if you have someone that can help, it would probably be easier with 2 guys (if you are worried about cracking a lens).
they are pretty much like a fish hook, easy in hard out

What is the trick for re-installing new lenses as far as securing lenses to housing? Are you guys using rivets again?

Thanks Kieth! I love you dash panel, what kind of paint did you use? I've been looking for one of those Bat-O-Meters for awhile. Can I ask you how you cut your dash panel to accept the Tach and the Bat-O-Meter? Thanks and beautiful truck!
