Will these headers work?
66c10. sbc 350 with 700r4 column shift. Lowered 5 to 5 1/2 in the front and 7 in the back. Will either of these headers work? Thanks for the help guys.http://www.ebay.com/itm/110938325349...84.m1423.l2649

Re: Will these headers work?
I don't think so. Typically the '88 and up truck headers won't fit because they come out from the heads too far. The '88 and up trucks have a much wider frame than the '60-'87 trucks.
Those other headers look about the same as far as how far they come out from the heads. One of the mid length headers that should work is Hedman #68600.

Re: Will these headers work?
Look for mid length camaro/chevelle headers! The long tubes fit also but minor trimming needs done.

Re: Will these headers work?
You could also go with the headers designed for these trucks. Hedman #69260's. They are considered longtubes, but they don't hang as far below the frame as the Hedman #69090's or Hooker #2452's
Here is a pic of the Hedman #69260's from underneath. This is on b2948kevin's truck that he recently sold.

Re: Will these headers work?
Thanks Captain! Is there another header that wont hang down quite as far? Are these the best option with maybe a little trimming?
