Re: Air bag installation

Could any of you guys help me, my truck is a little different than yalls. I have an 86 SW with 6/7 drop, springs and spindles and a flip. I been looking at bags but am ignorant when it comes to bags. With the static drop now it's a rough ride, also its not as low as I want it. I plan on notching the rear soon but want to go ahead and make my bag purchase, but need some help on the purchase. Was thinking of going with PB stage 1 & 2, but need to know what else I will need, of course tank and compressor, but on top of that. If not PB can you guys recommend another brand or air setup. I guess basically I need a list of things I will need on top of stage 1&2, and any tips and info you guys could give A guy new to bags. Also what is the significance of the ladder bars, sorry if it a dumb questions. Thanks for the help in advance.

Re: Air bag installation

Mike,

We have put together kits using the PB products, which have the air management side included. It all depends on how low you want to go, and if you want to cut up the bed as well. The stage 1 front and Stage 2 rear with trailing arms is a great system and keeps everything under the bed. Here is a link to our air ride kits that are all together with everything you need. Let me know if I can help any and just give me a call and I am more than happy to go over in further detail with you.

HEy Travis,
I was looking at the site, correct me if im wrong. Am I reading right that the Accu Air E-level kits don't actually come with the air bags? As opposed to the Pro 2 air management kits where the bags are included. Maybe when I was teading it I missed it. To be honest the kits on that page are more around my range. Don't get me wrong if I had the extra 6k around I would be all over it. But for now im looking for something like the Pro-2 or AccuAir E-level. Eventually I prolly will do the drop members but that will be way down the road. Lets say with the accu air kit, would I be able to set the crossmember on the ground with drop spindles and what I have now? Also with that kit how low will the back sit with no notch aired out?
Thanks Mike

Re: Air bag installation

Hey Mike,

PM sent, as I don't want to hijack the thread from the original poster. Basically, you will be looking at the Pro1 air ride kit: http://www.azproperformance.com/Pro1...-Ride-Kit.html
