Re: More drop

I would just put a 1" lowering block in there. Might have trouble finding a .5" lowering block, but they might be somewhere, I just have not seen them before.

Re: More drop

Btw, I like the look of the truck, very nice..... even with the slight rake, I think it has a nice stance.

Re: More drop

Thanks. Those were my thoughts but with the flip bracket it would worry me to put a block under it, will be welding leaf spring pad to the bottom soon so the block may be an option then. The rake is really noticable on level ground, wish i had a better picture, the rear is roughly 1.5in higher from the bottom of the body, really bothers me

Re: More drop

I know what you mean about having the block in there with a non-permanently attached flip kit bracket.

Re: More drop

For a temp (cheap) fix, throw some weight in the corners... Maybe take another leaf out?

Re: More drop

I haven't had a chance to put mine back on the ground but I removed the longer 4th spring and replaced it w a lighter leaf from a Jeep. I'll post updates here tomorrow if it gets me the 1" I wanted...

If you're going to weld on new leaf spring pads to the housing to eliminate the flip brackets, just build the drop into the pads (make them taller).
