wiper question
on my 65 the wipers are not hooked up yet but it started to rain the other day so i grabbed the windshield wiper and tried to drag the rain off manually but when i gently pulled and the wiper arm broke free to spin on shaft. my question is what could be the problem here could it just be the wiper arm stripped out or something more serious like the transmission arm boogered up

Re: wiper question
well i can tell u the wipers do work but i lost the nut that retains the wiper switch so i did not have them working at the time i was just tryng to manually swipe the blades manually (i know stupid decision) but whats done is done now so i might have stripped the wiper out who knows

Re: wiper question
It's not all that hard to remove the cowl. Open it up and see if anything is broken. It certainly shouldn't move freely, so I imagine that's the case, but without seeing it, it is difficult to say what has broken.
