What size clutch?

I have a rebuilt transmission coming from Autozone (Sagniaw 3 speed) and my choices through them for a clutch set are 10 inch or 11 inch. I have not taken my current set up apart yet to see what i have, but what would most likely be in the truck currently? I have a 250 straight-6 with Saginaw 3 speed in it right now. Would I have to replace the fly wheel as well if I ended up getting a different sized clutch?

Re: What size clutch?

That is helpful, thank you! When I disassemble it, will I simply need to measure the diameter of the clutch plate? Are the flywheels interchangeable between the two sizes?

Re: What size clutch?

yeah, the diameter of the disc-whatever is the closest=a 10" may measure like 9 7/8" etc. Some flywheels are drilled for both, but not all of them.
