Moving the Steering column.
I have read quite a few of the posts where guy's moved the steering wheel in 2-3 inches by hammering the hell out of the shaft after drilling out the plastic rivets.
So how does one re-attach the column to the dash after pushing the shaft in 2-3 inches? Yes, I am aware that's what she said. Do you just drill new holes in the dash mounting bracket or do you move the bracket that is on the column. If any one has I pick that would be great. There is tons of pics of everything, but that. I got a tilt column last week with the intention of putting it when I got around to it. So my kid motivated me by Conaning the emergency flasher thing off this weekend, and I have no signals or brake lights. The turn signals come on when I hit the brakes. |
