Re: Test fitted wheels... opinions wanted :)
i agree with grande..not matter what you do that trucks *****in..just be careful with 3 inch drop spindles and thinking about 3 inch coils...man your a arms are gonna be low.i've got the same spindle with a 1 inch coil.and my a arms are as low as i care to go.be sure it's driveable.

Yes, there are 1, 2, and 3" drop coils available for our trucks.

Re: Test fitted wheels... opinions wanted :)
Thanks, I like how there is a "little meat" on the rear tires. I just picked up some 315/35/20's for the rear of my 86swb today. Close fit!!!

Re: Test fitted wheels... opinions wanted :)
Awesome truck Classic87, but man, I absoulutely LOVED the original set-up, thought it fit that truck PERFECTLY. The 18s & 20s are just overpowering and take away from the look of the truck. Bigger isn't always better.
The only thing I might think of changing if it was my truck is 18s in the rear to rake it a little bit. Other than that, I would leave it dude, looks sick as it sits. Just my 2 cents. |

I like the 18s and 20s. Truck looks great either way!

I for one think wheels bigger than 18" look too DUB/DONK-ish, 18"s all around look perfect IMO....but the wheel choice you made does look good....almost can't go wrong with 5 spokes!
