after market A/C unit
]has anybody seen a A/C unit like this that mounts under the dash? it was put in the truck some time around the early 70's i think somewhere in California , i wonder if it could be refurbished to work again? any suggestions[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]http[IMG][/IMG]

Several of the aftermarket A/C places are now selling "retro styled" under dash units. These cost substantially less than refurbishing one that is 40+ years old and are compatible with the modern refridgerant.
Just my 2 cents worth of input.... |

I would ebay it, especially if you have the compressor and all the mounts. Someone doing a resto would love it. I did know that old air products has them.
