1987 Chevy 350 Loss of Power On Acceleration
My 1987 Chevy 3/4 ton pickup has a lack of power on acceleration and both exhaust manifolds turn cherry red. Exhaust manifolds will also turn red (although not as hot) if truck is just sitting running in the yard. This truck currently has no catalytic converter. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!

Sounds very lean. Anything done to the engine performance wise? What's the setup?

Re: 1987 Chevy 350 Loss of Power On Acceleration
I was getting a code 42 on this truck so replaced the white EST wire going to ignition module. This is a stock 350 throttle body. Thanks for replying.

Do you have catalytic converters? They could be getting plugged.
