Why doesn't gm not put leather seats or dual zone climate control in there regular cab trucks

I don't know, but I changed out my regular cab seat covers for leather. I now have Katzkin leather seats. The leather is easier to clean and it will last longer than the stuff that came on the seats.
As for dual zone, I found that I don't really need it in my truck.

Probably for the same reason they don't offer a manual transmission option anymore. Not enough people want it, the last year GM offered a manual, it accounted for less then 2% of the sales. Not enough people who want those options are buying regular cabs.
