whats the difference in a apache and non apache
Is there a difference in them? if so what is the difference? looking at a 60 short stepside and I got a guy interested in it and he was asking I have only seen pics of the truck I dont see any emblems on the side so I wasnt sure how to answer his question I wont see it till sunday when I go get it

I can’t find an authority to quote, but I believe Apache was a marketing/model designation for the ½ ton Chevy trucks from 1958 to 1961. This was in addition to the 55-59 trucks being referred to as the “Task Force” series, and the 60-66 series being identified as C/K series.

all 60-61's are apaches, the big trucks are vikings and spartans, the c series (c/10 etc..) started in 62.
