At some point it becomes an addiction...

Bringing another one home this weekend..(at least that the plan). 63 3/4 ton. Factory V8 custom cab. Original family, bought it new. Realized they werent going to get to it so they put it up for sale. Thats where I came in haha. Even though ive gone to pick these things up multiple times, I still get just as excited as if it were my first for some reason. Heres some pictures. Rough but not too bad i suppose.

Once you realize you have the addiction it's already too late.

Not a bad addiction though.

Yeah I've seen the posts about all of yours travz but this one was bein at the right place at the right time..I saw it when it was first posted on a classified ad and was the first one to call and he told me the next day a lot of people tried callin him. What sold me was the grille and custom can, but it could be a basket case just as easily.

I think you make some of your own luck.

I would love to find a decent "rust free" original truck when we get to buying fr silly money like that.

Well done on the save and find.

Looks good for the money from where I am sitting.

Re: At some point it becomes an addiction...

Some ppictures of he 3/4 ton. Didnt know it had factory power steering, soit was kind of a nice surprise. Motor turns over, but I havent put much time into getting it running. But here are more pics in all of its greasy glory.

Amazing how many 63 grills are beat up or missing the headlight bezels. That's a nice grille you've got.
Factory antenna. Would be nice if you took some measurements of where it's located.
Power steering
Power brakes?
Interesting how it has some of the Custom Appearance only on the exterior.
