Carb Issues...
So I knew I was on barrowed time with my carb when I bought it, but there was so much stuff to do and it was running fine so I forgot all about it. Until she left me stranded for a hour and a half on Tuesday. Good thing is I got her home no problem, but when I went out to find a Carb rebuild kit I could not fine one down here in a auto store. So I am wondering were you guys got your carb rebuild kits from, and how much they are? ( still don't have a lot of money to play with) Its a 250 straight 6 with a single barrel Rochester I think the number on it is 27708 but its faint and a stamp... I also found the number 68 down near the bottom, is this the year it was manufactured? Pics to follow..

Re: Carb Issues...
I use these guys for my carbs. They will rebuild it or restore it with the correct finishes if you want.

Re: Carb Issues...
Awsome just called one down here and they will have it by tuesday! They claim its not under the specified truck parts list for some reason but after I gave him the part number there it was... guess its a glitch or the system needs to be updated. Im going to clean it out myself and soak all the internals for a night and then make new gaskets from some material I have lying around so I can slap it back together and drive to the car show on sunday! Then do it all over again when the new stuff comes in. Thanks again guys.
