Hi i just recently bought a be cool radiator with dual electric fans they come with everything i need to install including directions. In the diagram it say gray relay wire to temp sending unit I understand that but the green relay wire is suppose to go to the green ignition switch wire. I cant find that wire under the dash there are green wires but i think that's the green and blue wire for turn signals and purp and yellow for signals. Any help would be appreciated and pictures eould help alot more thanks

Is there a brand name on the fans and the wiring kit that you are using? Is it a SPAL kit?

For the most part, you want an ignition triggered wire or fuse block tap point, so that the electricity to the fan relay is hot when the key is on. In that format, the fan will only operate, with the ignition on and not after you shut off the engine. The grey wire is going to the temp sensor, and that is a ground circuit for the fan and when it reaches a certain level the circuit will close and run the fan.

If you don't have one, get a test probe light. This iwll allow you the opportunity to check points on the fuse block and also penetrate wires to check for power on and off with the key being turned to run.

So would there be a way to connect this to the fuse box if I found something that is ignition powered or will i have to splice a wire? Never done this before dont wanna tear anything up

Many fuse blocks have a spade terminal on them that is either switched by the ignition or just have constant power. If you find one, then connect a wire to the terminal, BUT you will have to add a fuse holder of your own to have the circuit protected.

Would i be able to just go to autozone buy a 7$ fuse tap splice the 2 fan wires to the fuse tap wire and just plug it in in place of the ign fuse spot? Or would that probably burn it out if so that looks like something id be able to do.
