Beautiful repaired Cab FS (price lowered)

Unfortunately, I have to sell off my HappyShark project cab.
Originally a 1970 1/2 ton GMC $750 cab & sunroof alone
The cab has been fully rust-repaired, has the under dash wiring, ignition switch, headlight switch, installed new rear aftermarket slider (factory tinted), roof mod to accept the CRL/SFC sunroof that will come
with the cab (still in the box). Most of the vibration dampener has been installed.

Cab is painted Viper blue. It has a light scuff in the paint as shown in the
3rd pic. Scuff does not reach into the primer.

The $825 includes a huge amount of original paperwork…
...1971 bank finance contract, 2 protect-o-plates, owners manual, door gaskets, etc, etc, etc.

Now asking $825 with many extras
$750 cab & sunroof alone
(board members only)

Secured funds or cash only. I cannot hold for payment as I have
urgent medical bills.

Local pickup only please.
Free short term outdoor storage available.

No PM sales…please keep all questions in thread.

“I’ll take it” buys the cab
(pending cleared payment)
and over-rides any questions/requests.

"Put me in line" does just that.
"interested pending...whatever" does not.

Thanks for looking.

Re: ET's HappyShark project Cab is for sale!

Thanks for the kind words Jonathan.

I'm sad about it but he's way too nice to be stuffed in the garage and
deserves to realize his full potential.

Unfortunately, I never had the drive, strength nor finances to do so.

Not VIN tags...Protecto-plate ID tags.

As I understand it; these were used by the dealer (like in an old credit card
machine) when doing warranty work and GM replacement tags were
provided to new owners, if the truck was sold while the truck was under
warranty.

Not sure if this is the straight skinny but that's what I was told.
In this case, they do correspond to the rest of the paper trail.

Quite rare collection of paperwork I would think.

Hasn't sold yet. There's lots of folks that want it but everyone's
still on the fence...must be the upcoming holidays causing that.

They can be shipped by train and I would think it would
be in the $1,100-1,200 range to ship as far as MI.

Insomnia? Yup...4-5 hrs sleep are normal with me.

Re: ET's HappyShark project Cab is for sale!

Update:
At this point, two members (nobolt and Duputy Dan) are interested and both awaiting shipping quotes.
The crating company I'm dealing with will be saving a file on the cab so future quotes should turnaround fairly quick.

First to commit will be the owner regardless of pending quotes.

Thanks for your interest guys.

I got the crating/shipping quotes back today...$400 for crating and
$1000 for freight from Seattle to either Illinois or Michigan.
I can take responsibility for delivering the cab to the box company where
the cab would be palletized, stick-crated, wrapped and picked up by the
shipping company from there.

Unless Dan wants this, the cab is now available for local pickup ONLY.
Thanks for your understanding.

Re: Beautiful repaired Cab FS (price lowered)

Looks like the crating and shipping have been the stumbling blocks
plus adding lots of legwork...way too messy.

I'm now offering cheaper with less accys for local pickup.
Hoping that will that will help.

So is there a title or just the paper trail to help with getting a title...

The PO is in the area somewhere. When the title was signed, it was done so by the son rather than the owner (his dad). Once he's found, an AVR will do the trick.

My garage roof needs major repair so I'm hoping to get this out, at
the latest, by Tuesday am.
