Ididit chrome tilt steering column
My 71 has no tilt on the column,I have been looking at the Ididit chrome tilt columns for about $600 plus shipping, I found this other chrome tilt column on eBay for $350 shipped from a shop that makes them out of Virginia what do you guys think? Good investment or just go with stock?

Are you set on a aftermarket column, or you just want a chrome tilt? Kevs classics is a board member on here, he's in Fresno and can build you a factory tilt that is second to none and has great prices. You may want to pm him. jmo.

Personally I like the chrome columns and for $350 I think it's a pretty good price

Yeah, I agree. It says it's complete ready to go and it even comes with a chrome dress up kit, wich includes the flasher knob, turn signal lever, and tilt lever. That for my truck as a have a floor shifter, For an extra $90 they offer an installation kit that includes a chrome u-joint And DD shaft, I wonder if that's needed or if I can use the stock parts?

I don't think that is an IDIT. I emailed that seller about them. Thier reply is below.

If your not in a hurry, i bought a ididit column new old stock last week
Off this forum. It was 860 something from summit, i paid half that, Never installed, and all the stuff with it. There are a few nice columns on here now. Posted via Mobile Device |
