anyone put a bench in a blazer

I,m wanting to put a bench seat in my blazer,I don,t have a back seat and sometimes I have 3 people. It looks like the newer trucks have a higher bracket which to mount and looks like it might work.Anyone have any ideas

Re: anyone put a bench in a blazer

They do have nice single driver and pass with "ajoining seat" too
if you can find others that are 16 wide
you can use the stock ones i drilled new holes here(pic of pass side)
pass side uses front and back mount driver uses left and right
but a bench should work, useing the drivers side seat tracks, might even ajust

have to add a belt

Re: anyone put a bench in a blazer

Thanks ,I looked at the newer style but I didn,t think it matched the truck, looked too new so I found a 78 bench and thought it looked more old stlye,I have to make a bracket about 3 1/2 in. high but happy with the look, and then get upholsterd. Now I have to change to a column shift and go back to stock looking dash, tried my hand at big auto meter guages but looks like crap.
