Measurement for running board please...

Can someone do me a huge favor and measure the distance front the front of the framerail to the outer hole on the front running board mount? Mine are bent up and I need to make sure I am starting from the right place in the front before I shorten my frame any more!

Re: Measurement for running board please...

On my 48 frame --- as measured along top of frame.
Cab mounting bracket - rear of mount is 52 inches from front of frame rail
First rivet of first running board mount -- is 53 inches from front of frame
Second rivet is 56 inches.

There are two large holes that are countersunk(?) in the frame. One at the top of frame and one at the bottom. The running board mount straddles these two holes.

Hope that helps.

454 you are the man, thank you for taking the time to get those for me. I am however looking for the measurement front the front of the frame rail out at an angle to the outside of the running board mount (oval hole). I think mine came out to 59" exactly. I just want to verify so I don't have a big gap between the running board and the fender when stuff goes back together

Thanks for stating that so well....

Try these measurements- again my frame is a 48.

From front (lower) frame horn to the outside of the outer most slotted hole (center of hole)- 57 7/8 inch

from front (lower) frame horn to the inside of the inner slotted hole (center of hole) - 56 1/8 inch
