If you replace the bearing the shaft will need to be reballanced. May as well take it to the driveline shop right off the bat so they can tell if your 40 year Old parts are worth reusing. Best case scenerio 3 ujoints, carrier and a ballance.
Posted via Mobile Device You may want to take measurements from trans output to center of carrier mount then center of carrier mount to center of rear ujoint at different ride heights. You may need a slip and stub in your rear shaft.
