CPP axel question
So last night I got my 5 lug axels for my truck and even knowing it will be weeks till I can install them I opened up the boxes to check them out and noticed some differences in the them. The grove at the end of the spline is 1mm wider. Total length is the same and both are 30 spline. I don't know if I'm just freaking out over nothing. I just hate starting a job only to find out things are wrong. Any input on this would be great.

Re: CPP axel question
Might be fine...But
Make sure your c-clips fit in the slots...trial fit them making sure everything installs correctly into the differential side gears. The only time when "issues" occur, w/ rear axle end play, is with read disc brakes. the end play neds to be minimal, so the rotor stays in one place, for the brakes to work properly... |
