79 front clip to 86 cab and chassis?

Hello, I just found an 86 gmc that I may purchase in the distant future, but i really want a 79. We have the parts to make a 79 front clip, and i was asking if it were possible to install a 79 clip onto the 86? i know that the hood hinges could be a problem, but anything else? Thanks in advance.

No their ain't no problem the 73-80 front clip had the hinges on the fenders, you might just have to cover up the old recess holes of the hinges, you might have to move the core support brackets up a inch I think
