Heads-up???

Guys,
I really have tried to research this on my own but can't find a definitive answer:
Will the head from an older 216 (1950's) work on my 1960 235? I really want more than a simple 'yes or no' as I want to know how to determine this on my own in the future. That being said, if you know that you know but don't feel like bothering with an explanation, please still answer so that I can move forward with my project. Thanks in advance for all the help. You guys !!!
