120+ mph speedometer?
Does anybody make them for the 81-87's? 85mph just doesn't cut it! Or can somebody recommend a shop that can recalibrate and rescreen the gauge front?
Thank you!

Autometer. Recessed into the gauge cluster. Would look pretty nice. However, I would like to know about a shop that rescreens gauges.

Re: 120+ mph speedometer?
I got a quote from Bobs Speedometer Service for $400 to Re-print the face to 120 MPH, recalibrate the speedometer for the new face, and set the mileage on the odometer. This was a rough estimate from them, they do free estimates if you ship the speedometer to them. Their work looks pretty good. http://www.bobsspeedometer.com/1/120/custom_work.asp
Another, less costly option, is to use a metric Canadian (Export) speedometer with a ratio adapter box. This box speeds up the cable so the kilos scale (0-140) will read as MPH. |

Yeah I have a KPH speedo right now and thought that might be an option! Thank you!

Re: 120+ mph speedometer?
Ahh I just noticed you are in Canada. That makes the project easier since you'll just have to source the ratio box. It'll work for MPH but will no longer read KPH, its up to you if that'll bother you or not.
