big block '72 k20 headers
any of you out there with a big block 4x4, what headers are you running? my truck came with a set of flow techs installed. they leak and someone welded then to the rest of the exhaust so I want to replace them when I rebuild my truck. id like somthing a little nicer, maybe ceramic coated or somthing. thanks!

Re: big block '72 k20 headers
I have been running and will always use either Doug Thorley Tri-Y or Stans Tri-Y's, they both have 3/8" thick flanges, are 14ga Steel and come either ceramic coated or nickel chromed.
I have had a set of Stan's on the 454 in my 68 GMC 4X4 for 26 years and its now finally getting time to replace them. http://www.stans-headers.com/Photos/154Y.jpg |
