Normal filter replacement takes about 3 quarts + the 2 for the pan is 6 so I would say 8 just to be sure. Total refill with convertor is about 10 but this doesn't say for swallow or deep pans so I assume its for the swallow.

Loosen all the bolts a little then starting in the back remove those bolt a couple at a time so the pan will tilt. Have drain pan under the pan, support the pan a little with your hand and let the fluid flow out. Make sure the front bolts are about 1/2-3/4s the way out but will not fall out. Be real careful in doing this or you will get a bath or a real big mess and if not so lucky both lol.

I use normal fluid Dextron3 that's what it was designed to run with unless its getting some synthetic. Im not sure what's better in the synthetics. Aluminum doesn't bend it cracks so that something to thing about if you go off-roading in it. Could be pretty nasty if something smacked the transmission pan.

When I first posted I had TH400 on my mind, Ive been messing with mine a lot.
