Well...Our 383 Wont be dont for a long time..We are just gunna pace our selfs, Even if it was done...We wouldnt be able to drop it in the truck till i get my new ride..which wont happen untill 2 years lol. So...Now I am gunna focus on the 350 thats in there now. I have no clue to weathers its a 1 or 2 Piece Rear Main Seal. Btu I am sure its a rolller

Anyways....I wanan get some Vortech Heads...Cam...Intakes....Rocker arms...Push Rods....and Carb. Is there like a package for any of this. I'll save up to get those parts but I wanna kno now where to get them and atthe cheapest cost. For anyone thats has the heads....did they give good power. I am just tired or running 17's lol. Help me scrape off about 2-3 secs guys

Check out Edelbrocks site. They have "power packages" that are eaxctly what you are looking for. You will need to know what motor you have though...

Here's another one you might compare with. It's the Holley SysteMAX. Compare the price and numbers with the Edelbrock system.

Well, if it's a roller, then it's a 1-piece.
If I were you, and you're FOR SURE it's a later roller/1-piece block. I would go ahead and get the Edelbrock Performer RPM power package.

Are Gears hard to install? Just wondering..I'd like to rly do a 3.37 change from my 3.08

Power packages are boring and dont make as much power as a properly put together, piece by piece package, but you cant argue with holleys $1400 package for aluminum heads, intake, cam+lifters. Thats a great deal.

I'm curious how you are going to achieve a "properly put together, piece by piece package". Are you going to rely on your own knowledge? Wouldn't that require a lot of dyno time to achieve real hp/tq gains vs. seat of the pants gains?

I can't see how you could possibly beat a dyno tested power package by putting together parts "piece by piece".
