Lmc tank relocation success!

Well while the engine is waiting around to be rebuilt I figured this was a good time to mount my lmc tank kit. I knew some modification was going to have to be done but I lucked out big time. When I bought the truck Someone had already taken the tank outta the cab and had attempted to put some other massive tank under the bed. Anyways, all the modifications that I would had to if doo was already done for me besides drilling a few holes and making two straps was already done. What do you guys think?

Re: Lmc tank relocation success!

I would like to do the taillight filler but I don't know if I have that much skill haha. I think It will go into the bed floor and put a little door over it to keep debris out.

Re: Lmc tank relocation success!

The first pic is the new tank haha. It's still pretty big though, 21 gallons is a step up from my 12 gallon fuel cell I had haha.

Question Re: Lmc tank relocation success!

Do you lack room(like above tank)to raise that tank at least a couple more inches?--looks like there's plenty of room from below before tank-flange meets frame/x-over.

Re: Lmc tank relocation success!

I have about an inch maybe two. If I go any higher I'm thinking it might hit the bottom of the bed, but I'm not exactly sure how much clearance I have from the bed to the top of the tank.
