Re: Self-Adhesive Molding Clips
I got the same question. I'm about ready to install my new molding and this looks a better method. Is it?

Do they make adhesive clips for the color divider on the back of the cab under the window?

Re: Self-Adhesive Molding Clips
I have used them several times...Much easier to get molding alignment..Lay down a tape line first to go by...I replaced all the 2 sided tape with some good 3M stuff...No issues and not rust from paint thats been nicked up...I shaved a mm off of the edges of my upper molding clips to ease in the installation without bending the repop moldings when pressing them in..be carefull as there are two ways the clip can go in, a right way and a wrong way...Good luck

Re: Self-Adhesive Molding Clips
I used silicone to glue all my moldings on. Didn't want to spend$100 on clips or drill holes all over my truck. Worked perfect. They are never gunna fall off that's for sure.

Re: Self-Adhesive Molding Clips
Adhesive tape needs to be very thin like the original......thick tape will show large gap between trim and auto body! That is what I have have found on upper trim.....lower self adhesive plastic molding clips are nothing like original, if trying to use with original lower trim.....
