False alarm, right after I typed this out I got the call, it was as suspected, but had a windowed block. Bummer. Thanks for lookin, if you're a mod, feel free to delete.

Ah ha ha ha ha ha!!!!! So you're coming around, huh? You won't be dissapointed! Depending on price, and what you can get it rebuilt for, it may or may not be a bargain, but will definitley be cool. A nice cam, some headers and a tune will really wake it up. The intake is fine, the 4l80e is better than the weaker 4l60e, you can use your existing tank and sender, just need to swap pumps. An '03 will be DBW so you'll need the pedal and TAC module. Get everything you can from the donor, it will save you cash in the long run and may save a few trips to Pick n Pull. The A/C is just a matter of hooking up the lines, it's not hard. Just a damn shame you live so far away....

$400 for the whole truck doesn't sound too bad. If it's a 2wd with a good 4l80e, that's worth something right there.

That's where it seems to be going. The OG 6.0 in the truck was thought to be just soft, so I was expecting a redo. Now I gotta get a core, as the block is windowed. But the truck would be worth it for the ancillaries, and I can recoup off the rest of it.
