help
So im wanting to take ac out and smooth firewall. I took ac off and heater and now when i start truck coolant leaks onto my cab floor. Can anyone help me understand why and what i need to do to rid that problem. Thanks in advance.

Did you block off the coolant hoses to the heater core? Maybe a picture from the firewall side so we can see where you are at with the removal.

The heater core is inside the cab under the dash on passenger side. The 2 hoses on the outside you disconnect over by the old fan housing. Only thing I can think of is when you crank the truck up it sloshes the left over coolant out of the heater core and it runs down into the cab. Get a shop vac and suck it out are better yet take the inside housing out of the truck also since it's not going to ever work again.

Ill definitely do that and gets some pics up tonight. Ya the copper piping is still running through the firewall.. how do you suggest blocking hoses off? Ill get pics when i get home! Thanls guys!

I would take it all out. If it's not going to be used then it's a matter of a few more bolts and all the inside stuff will fall in the floor.But if u leave it buy some rubber vacum close offs and put over the ends of copper tubes. They are in the help section at most auto parts stores.[/COLOR][/B]

Im going to just take it all out. As far as on my motor goes how do i block my hoses off that run to the copped tubing?
