4 core rad conversion question
I have a 4 core radiator from a 72 and want to put it in my 70. I have a new radiator support and I saved the upper rad mounts. I bought new lower 4 core saddles and all new rubbers. I noticed the lower mounts do not fit in the radiator support. do I just bent the lip of the support down or cut it open to make it fit.

I was JUST about to post this question.. I was going to cut, no particular reason, just thought bending wouldn't look as clean. |

Re: 4 core rad conversion question
lmc for the saddles and rubbers and they are very nice. I am just going to bend the lip with a adjustable wrench. I have already painted and cleared the support.

Re: 4 core rad conversion question
Heat the area to be bent first, then bend it with a wrench like you plan. It will look much better than trying to crease it without heat, plus it will be easier!
