Gotta get a pic, but I still have a question....
I've been driving past a cheapo car lot for a few years. So, sitting on the lot is a '69 1-ton with a bed on it that may have had some kind of wrecker boom. No boom on the bed, although there are signs that indicate such.
It was originally a stake-bed truck, 133-inch wheelbase, with a 350 and a TH400. It's actually pretty straight and seems solid. A P.O. welded the bed to the chassis with some tabs on top of the rails between the cab and bed. It's a DRW option and it can apparently be bought for $1200. It runs, too. So, is it worth pursuing?

Seems like a solid truck, but without pics and a description of the condition of the interior/glass/etc., it's hard to say. If its a little rough cosmetically, but runs well, I'd say go for it. Sounds like it has a lot of potential
