1965 c10 Tailgate removal
I am in the process of restoring my Fleetside Pick up but cant work out how to remove the tailgate? please help!!!

If it's the same as my 66 I think it's the four bolts at the hinges at the bottom of the tailgate.

I have taken those bolts out but how do i remove from the groove it is in? does it slide out some how?

Yep, unhook the chains, take out the four bolts, and wiggle the bushings out. Don't lose the mount/bushings!
