CALLING any members that installed a BOYD gas tank
I ordered a boyd welding gas tank. I have it mounted in place....and now i have to run the gas line and sending unit wire.
Im ok with running the gas line.......my question lies with the sending unit wire. it seems pretty straight forward, but i wanted to ask you guys for sure. The sending unit has 2 bolts on it. i know one of them is the intended spot for the wire. But my question is if i get it wrong (since my tank didnt come with instructions that i saw), will it ruin my sending unit? and does anybody know which polt is goes to.......will post a pic in a few

Re: CALLING any members that installed a BOYD gas tank
Assuming you have a sending unit that has one pole in the center and one off center, the center one is the sending unit wire that goes to the gauge, the other is a ground.
