67 C20 rear brake
The rear wheels are locked up and I need to move this truck. There are no holes at the adjusters. I removed the brake lines so that pressure is zero.
I figured the adjuster holes have a knockout plug but the trailing arms are in the way of getting a good shot with a punch and hammer. The truck will be stripped to the frame for rust removal and painting. |

Re: 67 C20 rear brake
Is it the parking brake? You could cut the cables at the backing plate. Then try to brake the shoes loose.

Re: 67 C20 rear brake
Could be. The cable and housing was extremely rigid so I beat on it with a 4 lb. hammer. The cable itself has some slack at the joint but it may be solid at the drum.
The frame is really rusty from the cab back. |
