Walk in utility bed
This one's for sale in the Boston, MA area. Not Mine.
Never seen anything like it before myself. Tool boxes on both sides and a walk-in enclosed bed with shelves for tools and gear. Guy's asking $3K (for the bed only). http://boston.craigslist.org/sob/pts/3873952101.html Last edited by dcasalena; 06-26-2013 at 04:59 PM. |

Re: Walk in utility bed
Used to be a common bed style used by utilities/phone companies. Its just a service bed with a canopy now often replaced by a van. 3k seems like a lot for what it is and the very small market existing for a fourty year old bed in a rust zone.

Re: Walk in utility bed
The body companies made these beds with modular component options. You could get different heights, too,or bins on the sides of the top. These are still pretty common to see and the cost has skyrocketed with the increase in steel cost.
