67-68 Two tone?
Hey guys I'm thinking of doing a 2-tone black and white paint job on my truck, anyone have any pics of two tone 67-68's? Searched around and found a few, just looking for ideas. Thanks!

Re: 67-68 Two tone?
The only original 67-68 two tone black/white would be black with a white roof. Each year having a different separation line on the roof. The only white below trim would be a 68 anniversary gold/white. I want to paint mine white roof 67 style with lt blue body and non original white below the trim. I have not seen any black/white two tones but it would look nice with the 68+ paint scheme.

Re: 67-68 Two tone?
That's kinda what I was thinking. I had a '66 with the green / white top paint and always liked that. I was going to flat black the truck, but since I'm cleaning it all up anyway I keep thinking about doing it all right. It'll depend on the budget, but just fishing for ideas.

Re: 67-68 Two tone?
Either the 67 or the 68+ style would look good. Even more so in the correct colors.
67 black truck with an ivory/off white roof from the drip rail up and of course the rear cab pillars. The doors and windshield posts remain black. 68 black truck with an ivory roof and ivory grill to the split trim. It would have great contrast without being too stark. 500 Black 526 Ivory These are just some general pictures. Pretty certain the black stepside has a white roof and not the original ivory color.

Re: 67-68 Two tone?
yea I'm thinking of doing something like the gold truck, but with white under the lower moulding too. I found a great pic but the wrong color of what I was thinking about, I'll be throwing it in photoshop tomorrow to replace the green with black so see what it would look like. Kinda curious what the opposite would look like, black top and lowers with white in the middle. Hmmm..... definitely some photoshop time coming LOL!!!
