Re: pinion angle @ ride height
Funny things is ive been having this issue before a change my front end to dropmember.
When I drove to LA both times it ran with no issue then I was slowly starting to get this issue. Could It be a ujoint or carrier bearing? I have a small amount of play in the carrier bearing but the rear ujoint has no play Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: pinion angle @ ride height
A center carrier bearing that has play will vibrate..

I pull the yoke off and stick it to the face of the output shaft

Re: pinion angle @ ride height
You can also use the starter pad or the pan rail if you want to leave the driveshaft installed.
BTW, Its not "common practice" to just dial in 2 degrees of pinion angle in case the pinion angle just happends to change. On a street car not using leaf springs, there is no axle wrap.
