Need a lead on wire holdbacks
ON my '60 along the driver side inner fender there are several holes for a plastic wire hold back/wire support (best name I can think of) you lay your wire in the and tape them into the wrap, then they snap into holes and keep the wire in place.
anyone got a lead on what they are celled so I can order some? Thanks Jake

Re: Need a lead on wire holdbacks
Never mind I found them, I was over thinking on what they were called I did a image search on Google and came up with these. Wish they were in black.

Re: Need a lead on wire holdbacks
I may have some of those left over Jake. Give me some time to search for them before you start installing ivory ones.

Re: Need a lead on wire holdbacks
Sorry Jake, I no longer have any used clips. They were either installed or pitched out but they are definitely gone.
Here’s the direct link to the YearOne Chevelle clips, but they appear to be offered in white now. As mentioned this probably wouldn’t show one taped and snapped in place. https://www.yearone.com/Product/1964-72-chevelle/wc6472 Here’s something similar to the original GM part in gray and a much better price: http://www.ebay.com/itm/25-GM-Wiring...#ht_2652wt_821 And here’s the same part offered by the manufacturer in case you don’t use Ebay: http://www.clipsandfasteners.com/GM_...h_p/a19853.htm Here’s a vintage GM part I’ve used on occasion, although it’s listed as 62-74: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1962-74-GM-W...#ht_2021wt_783 The white (Christmas tree) style clips you show in the original post are listed as Ford items, and may require drilling the holes out a bit to fit. Any of the GM folding prong type would probably fit correctly without drilling. Good luck!
