1972 Chevy - SB mounts different than BB?
I have a 72 Chevy that originally had a 307. I'm trying to put a 454 in it. Does anyone know if the stands/mounts are different for a BB? I'm having trouble getting headers to fit and it seems like the motor is sitting too far forward. Help!!

Re: 1972 Chevy - SB mounts different than BB?
The last one I put a Big Block in I used 73-87 stands and mounts. They are much better than the 72 style Small Block style mounts and are very similar to the 72 Big Block stands and mounts. The 73-87 mounts practically bolt righ in, and are readily available at every wrecking yard in the world. And they're cheap.
